"The Walls Around Her."

This is an hommage (if you can call it that) to Taylor Swift and the others like her who lack all finer inspiration and celebrate the bump and grind of the only thing they know and don't do very well.

The lyrics are just below=

the beds of the men that she barely knew

went by like a tickle each time they blew

through the walls around her.

it was the push and the pull of the magic stick

that made her armor so wet and slick

where the walls divide her

a stone that went skipping across the lake

all incidental to the give and the take

of the walls inside her

she was the queen of the afterthought

She was revealed in the things she sought

It was all shiny objects and loosening skin

on the way to forgetting the people she'd been

she was a part of her times and the face of her day

that waved from the ship as it all sailed away

And no one could tell her and she couldn't hear

As the walls came together, my dear

She danced in the shadows and lost her way

Because of the things she never could say

For the walls had drowned her

She never recovered what never occurred

the lies in the sand the next tide obscured

and the walls made her suffer

The passing dream of a life like this

The taste of the moment that crucified bliss

when the walls turn to water

she was the queen of the afterthought

She was revealed in the things she sought

It was all shiny objects and loosening skin

on the way to forgetting the places she'd been

she was a part of her times and the face of her day

that waved from the ship as it all sailed away

And no one could tell her and she couldn't hear

As the walls came together my dear

the walls closed forever... I fear

and the meaning... is no longer clear

and I am out of here
