It’s Sunday, so… here is an early song posting to start the week. From my watching of Trends and Patterns, The World is rapidly moving into unknown territory and I think we are going to soon see things that are going to blow The Hive Mind. They are not going to blow my mind cause that happened in permanent fashion a long time ago, AND… because I watch Trends and Patterns, BUT… I am saying it in advance so that later on I can say, I told you so. (grin)
Here are the song lyrics;
I went down to the western store
To get myself some clothes
hand-woven denim jeans
boots made in New York
I want to look like I was there
When the hard, hard work got done
Like I put these miles on my face
Last year when I was young
It’s hard to be a cowboy
When you’ve never punched a cow
that’s not the part I’m after
So please don’t show me how
Some day I’m going to Texas
When my clothes are broken in
Yeah I’ll kick some ass in Dallas
All the way to New Orleans
But Tonight, I’m flying to Las Vegas
Into the wind and on my way
I’m gonna dance like there is no tomorrow…
Cause my pick-up truck is pregnant
And my wife got towed away
Oh my pickup truck is pregnant
Riding real low to the ground
And now my wife is missing
Sure, I checked the lost and found
The last thing she said was "bullshit!"
And then she closed the door
And I guess I’ll never really know
How come she left me for.
Tell me why it makes a difference
If I look like what I’m not
I don’t need to be authentic
As long as I am hot
I can drink from the long-neck bottles
And talk that western shit
There may be some pieces missing
But I’ve got the most of it.
Nobody knows what’s real or not
And don’t nobody care
I can squint like Willie Nelson does
I got Lyle Lovett’s hair
You only have to look the part
It's just like in DC
Where they went and made a president
From a cowboy just like me
But Tonight, I’m flying to Las Vegas
Into the wind and on my way
I’m gonna dance like there is no tomorrow…
Cause my pick-up truck is pregnant
And my wife got towed away
Oh my pickup truck is pregnant
Riding real low to the ground
And now my wife is missing
Sure, I checked the lost and found
The last thing she said was "bullshit!"
And then she closed the door
And I guess I’ll never really know
How come she left me for
Yeah, I guess I’ll never know
How come she left me for
